At the age of 17, he decided where he should invest all his struggles and what job he should opt for. he started working backstage at the esteemed Birmingham Repertory Theatre as Head Flyman. During that time, he auditioned for the role of porter in Whose Life Is It Anyway at Birmingham Rep. Theatre and happily received the position.
Shortly subsequently gained his first job at the Royal National Theatre as a Messenger in Measure for Measure. Tony’s enthusiasm for theatre brought him touring the UK while playing the lead part in Jelly Roll Soul.
