Trevon De’Sean Diggs was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland on September 20, 1998. Diggs attended Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School until his sophomore year when he decided to transfer to The Avalon School in Wheaton, Maryland to pursue his football career.

In high school, he was a defensive back and a wide receiver. He rushed for 1,008 yards with 15 touchdowns and 78 receptions as a junior.

He was named to the All-Washington DC Metro Team twice. He committed to play college football at the University of Alabama.

Career in College

He finished his freshman season with five tackles and one forced fumble on defense, as well as 88 yards, 11 receptions, and one touchdown. He racked up nearly 296 total return yards.

He committed to cornerback full-time as a sophomore in 2017. Levi Wallace passed him on the depth chart after he played against Florida State University.

As a sophomore, he was a member of the special teams, returning 18 punts for 154 yards, including a long of 21 yards, and two kickoffs for 74 yards.

Diggs began the season as a junior, appearing in six games before suffering a broken foot against the University of Arkansas. In his junior year, he had 20 tackles and one interception.

He started the first 12 games of his senior season as a senior in 2019. He had 37 tackles, three interceptions, eight passes, two fumble recoveries, and a 100-yard touchdown return during his career. Against Louisiana State University, he had a career-high ten tackles.

Professional Development

The Cowboys selected Diggs in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks, he forced a fumble at the goal line, which resulted in a touchback. Diggs received his first career sack in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, resulting in a 49-38 loss.

Diggs recorded his first two interceptions in Week 8’s 23-9 loss. Later, he fractured a bone in his foot, forcing him to be placed on an injured reserve.

During the Week 3 game, Diggs scored his first career touchdown on an interception thrown by quarterback Jalen Hurts. He was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month in September.

Trevon was rumored to have touched the model “Chinese Kitty” in April 2021. She made the post public in front of everyone on Instagram, which resulted in her gaining a large number of followers all at once.

Diggs allegedly put his hands on her and threatened her on at least one occasion, according to the Instagram model.
