Who is Trevor Siemian?

Trevor Siemian is a quarterback for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). Trevor Siemian gained notoriety when he was named as the replacement for former Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, but we may never know how that went because he is now on the roster of the Minnesota Vikings.

Trevor Siemian: Birth, Parents, Siblings & Education

Trevor John Siemian was born on December 26, 1991, to parents Walter and Colleen Siemian.

His hometown was in Danbury, Connecticut, so he went to Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida, where he joined the football team – the Titans – and played high school football.

In addition, he was so good at baseball that he was named Mr. Olympia in his senior year of high school. Siemian played third base, shortstop, and outfield, among other positions.

He graduated from high school with a 3.9 GPA and attended Northwestern University (NU) to study Communication Studies.

During his time at Northwestern, he was also a key member of the football team.

He led the Wildcats to victory in the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl in 2012, defeating Mississippi State in the championship game.

He finished his Northwestern Wildcat career ranked fourth all-time in completions (550) and passing yardage (2,050).

He was also sixth in offensive yards (5,908) and seventh in passing touchdowns (5,908).

What is the net worth of Trevor Siemian?

Trevor Siemian: Professional Career

Because of his average college career with the Northwestern Wildcats, there wasn’t much excitement surrounding Trevor Siemian’s selection in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Even the man himself did not believe he had a chance to play in the NFL after being ranked 22nd best.

He had gone ahead and prepared himself for a job or, more likely, a career in real estate before being selected as the last quarterback standing by the Denver Broncos with the 250th pick in the draft.

Despite making only one appearance – against the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 20, 2015 – for the entire 2015 season, Siemian played a role – albeit from the bench – in the Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers by a score of 24–10.

Siemian saw more playing time in 2016 after the Broncos’ first-choice quarterback, Peyton Manning, retired and his backup, Josh McCown, chose to join the Houston Texans.

For the 2016 season, he was named starting quarterback ahead of veteran Mark Sanchez and a rookie.

He started the season opener against the Carolina Panthers – a rematch of the Super Bowl 50 game – and became the first quarterback from his school – Northwestern University – to start an NFL season opener since Otto Graham in 1955.

In addition, having only played one game for the Broncos prior to the game against the Panthers and not thrown a pass in that game, Trevor Siemian became the first quarterback in NFL history to appear in the season opener for a Super Bowl defending champion without having thrown an NFL pass.

Between Weeks 8 and 14, he averaged more than 300 passing yards per game, joining Kirk Cousins of the Washington Redskins and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots as the only other quarterbacks to do so.

Siemian received a rating of 125.6 against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12, his best-ever rating at the time, and by the end of the season, the stats showed that he had outperformed his predecessors, Manning and Osweiler’s record in 2015.

Trevor was traded to the Minnesota Vikings in March 2018 as a backup quarterback for Kirk Cousins, who also joined the Vikings in 2018.

Trevor Siemian: Family members

As previously stated, Trevor Siemian was born in Danbury, Connecticut to Walter and Colleen Siemian.

There is no information about any sisters, only about Todd Siemian, the older brother.

For reasons best known to him, he rarely speaks about his family or siblings (if any) in public, so there is no information on them at the moment.

Trevor Siemian: Married or Single?

People have become interested in Trevor’s personal life, including his romantic side, as a result of his rise to fame and stardom in the NFL.

Nonetheless, it is surprising that he is able to keep all of his cards so close to his chest, especially when it comes to his personal and family life.

This has made it difficult for the public to learn about what is going on in his life.

Despite the fact that he has closed the world out of his life, his girlfriend, Bo Podkopacz, has not, as she is very active on social media and constantly posts pictures of them and their activities.

The couple met in college when she was playing soccer for Northwestern University.

They had been dating since before getting engaged on a gondola ride at a ski resort in Colorado.

Podkopacz, who graduated in 2014, majored in Learning and Organizational Change and is now pursuing a law degree at the University of Denver in Colorado.
