Walter Catlett

American actor whose career was bolstered by the introduction of talkies. He had comedic roles in films such as Yankee Doodle Dandy, Bringing Up Baby, and Mr. Deeds Goes to Town. Walter Catlett was born on February 4, 1889, in California. In the 1935 film adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities starring Ronald Colman, he played John Barsad.
