On June 23, 2018, Wendy Venturini was hit by a car while exercising near the Sonoma Raceway’s June 24 event. Following the accident, she was taken to Marin General Hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. She later suffered a concussion, scratches, and bruises, as well as a skull fracture and nerve damage in her left ear.
