The allegations filed against the President of the Prosper ISD Board of Trustees have lately come under examination.

Drew, the executive pastor of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, is accused of inappropriately touching the child.

More details about his arrest, as well as his bail and lawyers, have yet to be released.

Drew Wilborn’s Personal Details

Drew Wilborn is the president of the Prosper Independent School District’s board of trustees.

The 43-year-old, who was just elected president, ran a large campaign for the position and will begin his three-year term in 2021.

Wilborn earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Control Systems from the University of North Texas in 2002.

He earned his MA in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University in 2014.

The current president of the ISD board of trustees moved to Prosper with his wife and family in June 2017.

Drew formerly worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as an accounting supervisor and financial analyst.

For the past 16 years, the 43-year-old devout Christian has served as pastor and chief financial officer at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

Drew Wilborn Was Charged With Child Sexual Abuse

The president of the Prosper Independent School District, Drew Wilborn, has been arrested for sexual indecency with a child.

According to jail records, the Prosper ISD board president was arrested in the afternoon of Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Dallas Police received information about an incident involving a child and the school board president on April 12, 2022.

Police acquired an arrest warrant for the 43-year-old after conducting an investigation.

He was captured in Celina, Texas, at his home.

Wilborn was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail for indecency with a 16-year-old child.

As of Wednesday, it was unclear whether bail had been set or whether the Prosper ISD president was being represented by lawyers.

According to a statement provided by the Prosper Independent School District, no Prosper students were involved in the incident.

Prosper ISD also forwarded any inquiries about the incident to the Dallas Police Department.

Wilborn oversaw several tense meetings in 2022 with parents who questioned Prosper ISD’s handling of sexual assault charges against a bus driver.

The board of trustees hired a law firm to investigate the charges of two elementary school girls, ages 5 and 7, who attended the same school.

They expressed their displeasure with the lack of proper action taken against the driver who allegedly sexually abused their daughters more than 100 times in less than a year.

Frank Paniagua, the accused bus driver, committed suicide by jumping from the second storey of the Collin County Jail.

He collapsed and died a few days later.
