George Reginald Cohen, better known as George Cohen, was a right-back for Fulham in the English Premier League. George Cohen, regarded as one of the few greatest one-trophy wonders, passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 83. The Fulham right-back was the uncle of rugby union World Cup winner Ben Cohen and was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame.
George was a one-club footballer during his active career, joining Fulham professionally in 1956 and remaining there until his retirement due to injury 13 years later in March 1969.
Following his retirement, the Fulham right-back briefly coached the Fulham youth squad and the England under-23 team, as well as managing non-league Tonbridge.
