He is a British multi-hyphenate who currently works for The Escapist, a popular American video game website and online magazine, Hyper, an Australian-based multi-platform video game magazine, and PC Gamer, a UK-based gaming magazine.

Croshaw was born in England, specifically in Rugby, Warwickshire, on May 24, 1983. He was raised with an older brother by their parents, the identities of whom are unknown to the public.

The British actor received his primary education at Eastlands Primary School, after which he transferred to Abbots Farm Middle School to further his education.

Croshaw, originally from Abbots, enrolled at Lawrence Sheriff School but dropped out after completing his first adventure game.
