Professional Career of Julian Lennon

For Christmas in 1973, his father, John, gave him a guitar and a drum machine.

Julian performed the drums on John’s album ‘Walls and Bridges’ for the song ‘Ya-Ya.’ He was only 11 years old at the time.

He began his career as a musician when he was 11 years old when he released his first album, ‘Valotte,’ which became a smash hit.

He was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1985. His second album, ‘The Secret Value of Daydreaming,’ was published in 1986.

However, it was not yet well-known, peaking at number 32 on Billboard magazine’s album list.

Julian’s CD, ‘Help Yourself,’ included George Harrison in 1991. Julian recorded the cover for the Beatles’ album ‘When I’m Sixty-Four’ in 1998 and 2002.
