He has publicly denied all allegations that he physically abused Yolanda. Zayn has also claimed that Yolanda was openly discussing their private family matters in public, and that he prefers personal disagreements to be resolved in private.

Following the accusation, Zayn was charged with four counts of criminal harassment against Yolanda and Gigi Hadid. On September 29th, he got into an argument with Yolanda in his apartment, after which he shoved her into a closet.

He was also charged with harassing Gigi Hadid, whom he called while she was in Paris for Fashion Week while arguing with Yolanda.
