Goran Dragic- Professional Career

He made his debut in the Slovenian minor league with KD Ilirija when he was 17 years old. He was a member of the Slovenian Basketball League, the Adriatic League, and the ACB League of Spain.

He joined Union Olimpija in 2007 and won the Slovenian League Championship that year. He entered the NBA Draft the next year. San Antonio Spurs drafted him in the second round, 45th overall, in 2008, but he was eventually transferred to the Phoenix Suns.
