On the other hand, he was the first person to use drafting techniques in automobile racing. “The Last American Hero” is his autobiography.

Meanwhile, he was making country ham and fried pork skins. He’d had Alzheimer’s for a long time. Nonetheless, he died on December 20 in a hospice care facility.
