American actor who was Part of the duo known as Brown and Carney. They co-starred in a remake of the Marx Brothers film Room Service which was renamed Step Lively. Alan Carney was born on December 22, 1909 in New York City, NY. He had a cameo appearance in It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, starring Jonathan Winters. He was supposed to appear with Wally Brown but Brown died shortly before. After performing vaudeville for a number of years, he made his film debut in Convoy and later signed with RKO Pictures and played a role in Mr. Lucky.
