She was forced to flee Kyiv due to her status as a blacklisted journalist. For the Kyiv Independent, she now produces a radically different podcast called “Media in Progress.”

One of her family friends, a notable Ukrainian journalist, encouraged her to pursue this area while she was studying International Relations at Boston University.

After that, she created a podcast, which led to her being hired at the Kyiv Independent Post. “Crimean Solidarity: The Fight for Freedom in Russian-Occupied Crimea,” a Kyiv Post documentary, is produced by Alem Kent. She taught pupils food runner, cook, arts and crafts, and table set up from 2011 to 2014.

At the time, she was employed as a speech president. She just helped at an elephant conservation center in Chang Mai, Thailand, in 2014. She worked just as a volunteer in 2015, then as a music director in Boston from 2016 to 2019. In 2017, she also educated young children in Ukraine on global and environmental awareness.

She was a member of the Refugees Welcome! Intern team in 2018. She solely worked as an executive director’s assistant in Boston. She worked as a director of the vagina monologues and Yoni ki Baat in the greater Boston area from 2018 to 2019. She then worked as an intern with the program and events team in the Washington, DC metro region in 2019.

She then relocated to Ukraine in 2019 and began producing pieces for periodicals as well as managing her social media profiles. After that, she began working as a freelancer and launched her podcast, which has become one of her most well-known works.

In the year 2020, she made a number of films and blog entries focused solely on Ukraine. She is now a producer, and she hosts a weekly “media in process” podcast.
