Spittle returned to Westmeath after graduating from college, where she worked as a researcher for iRadio alongside Irish comedian Bernard O’Shea.

Alison began her comedy career as an opening act for PJ Gallagher. As a result, she was invited to compete in the Irish heats of So You Think You’re Funny. She qualified for the Edinburgh rounds.

As a result of her success, Alison was invited to appear as a guest on the Happy Hour segment of the John Murray Show on RTÉ Radio 1. Worrier Princess (2017) and Alison Discovers Hawaii (2018) are two of her comedy shows.
