One of the three members of the band Black Buddafly was Aminata, a charming and gorgeous actress. They included Jazz, her twin sister, and Sophie, her older sister. However, in 2006, her older sister departed the group, and the group was reduced to a duet.

They relocated to the United States after their success in their own country and got a deal with mega-mogul Russell Simmons.
