Alabi was also named first-team All-Conference USA in both of his final two seasons. 

Former head coach Nick Saban selected the star in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.

In 2006, he made his first regular-season appearance, appearing in six games. 

On October 1, he made his NFL debut as a reserve.
