In the 1993 television series “The Sandlot,” LaFleur portrayed Babe Ruth, a prominent baseball star of the time. In the comedy picture “Man of the House,” he played another prominent role.
He starred as Red Sweeney, an eccentric and compulsive character, in the film, which was released in 1995. LaFleur also had an appearance in an episode of the television show M*A*S*H.
He made an appearance in Season 9, which was created especially for Father’s Day. In the 1985 fictional picture Zone Troopers, he played a responsible US Army soldier.
