He was the co-founder of the Institute of Orthomolecular Medicine, which was later renamed the Linus Pauling Institute. Arthur B. Robinson was born on March 24, 1942, in Illinois. He and fellow scientist Robert Bruce Merrifield both worked with the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine.
