According to the police, they were growing increasingly concerned about Barry Freeman’s disappearance. Barry, 44, was last seen at 7.40 p.m. on December 22 in Coleraine’s Circular Road/Strand Road neighborhood. He was seen wearing a Santa bobble hat, white trainers with a dark soles, a Christmas jumper, a navy coat, and navy tracksuit trousers the last time he was seen.
According to a PSNI spokeswoman who launched the missing person appeal on Thursday night, police are particularly interested in speaking with any of Barry’s friends or relatives who may have spoken to him in recent days.

Police have confirmed that the death of a man who had been missing in Coleraine during the Christmas holiday is not being examined as suspicious following the finding of a body.
The 44-year-old was last seen wearing a Santa bobble hat and a Christmas sweater.
Police issued an appeal for information about his location and asked vehicles with dashcam footage in the Circular/Strand Road area to contact them.
Over the holidays, members of the Community Rescue Service (CRS) searched the region.
According to a PSNI spokesperson, officers had stopped looking for Mr. Freeman as of last night “after the recovery of a body in the Coleraine area” the day before.
“At this time, the death is not being investigated as suspicious,” they added.
Mr. Freeman was employed at Coleraine RightPrice Home Furnishings.
A Company spokesperson paid tribute to their colleague and expressed “great regret” upon learning of his death in a statement shared on social media.
“Barry has been an important member of the team since 1999, and the entire crew will miss him.”
“He was not only a coworker, but also a close friend,” the representative stated.
“On behalf of everyone, we extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Barry’s family and friends during this difficult time.”

In a statement released yesterday, a spokeswoman for Help Brings Our Barry Home claimed they were “devastated.”
Mr. Freeman’s friends and family had set up a Facebook page to provide information about his whereabouts.
They asked readers to remember Barry’s friends and family in their prayers during the tough days ahead.
