South African Christian leader and gospel singer known for the release of more than a dozen successful gospel albums since his musical career began in 1986. The Bishop of Benjamin Dube Ministries, he and his family captain the High Praise Centre Church. Benjamin Dube was born on January 23, 1962 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Much like Paul Morton, he has gained a reputation as both a religious leader and gospel singer. At nine, he inherited his father’s love of playing the guitar. Two years later, he expanded the the drums and bass. By twelve, he and his siblings were singing together in Church as the Dube family singers.
