Crosby established a duo with his friend Al Rinker in the mid-1920s, and the pair traveled to Los Angeles in search of their big break.

They rapidly became a successful vaudeville act known as “Two Boys and a Piano,” and they performed at a number of West Coast venues.

The duo briefly joined Paul Whiteman’s jazz ensemble before forming the Rhythm Boys trio with Harry Barris.

The Rhythm Boys were a regular element of Whiteman’s act.

Many of Crosby’s early songs revealed his love of jazz and the impact it had on his sound.

He was good at scat-singing and had a knack for jazz-style phrasing.

The Rhythm Boys featured together in one of Crosby’s first films, 1930’s King of Jazz, in addition to producing a few songs.

Crosby quickly established a solo career, landing his own radio show.

His radio program, which debuted in 1931, was a huge success, reaching up to 50 million listeners at its peak and lasting nearly 30 years on the airwaves.

Crosby had a series of singles that year, including “I Found a Million-Dollar Baby” and “Just One More Chance.”

Over the years, he continued to surprise music fans with songs like “Please,” “You’re Getting to Be a Habit With Me,” and “June in January.”
