Professional Career 

Blythe Danner began her career in 1967 with the musical Mata Hari.

In 1968, she appeared in the Off-Broadway production Summertree.

She received a Theatre World Award for her performance in The Miser in 1969, as well as a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her portrayal of a free-spirited divorcee in Butterflies Are Free (1969–1972).

She began appearing on the television show with George M! in 1970 and went on to appear on a variety of other shows such as Two and a Half Men, Huff, Will and Grace, and Patrick Melrose, among others.

She received the national honor at the age of 25.

Her first starring film role was opposite Alan Alda in To Kill a Clown (1972), and the following year she played Martha Jefferson in the film adaptation of 1776.

Furthermore, she appeared in a slew of films and won a slew of awards, propelling her to stardom and skill.

She won the Saturn Award for Best Actress for her performance in Futureworld in 1976.

She was nominated for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Supporting Actress in a Comedy for her performance in ‘Meet The Parents’ in 2000.

The Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress of Motion Picture for her performance in ‘The Last Kiss’ in 2006.

The Gotham Award for Best Actress, and the Satellite Award for Best Actress of Motion Picture for her performance in ‘I’ll See You in.

Relationship Status 

Blythe Danner married Bruce Paltrow, an American director, and producer, in 1969.

The couple has a daughter, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and a son, director Jake Paltrow.

Her husband died of pneumonia on October 3, 2002. In addition, in early 2002, he was battling oral cancer.

Danner has not been in a relationship since his death and is content with her two children.
