Brett Hundley was signed to a one-year contract by the Green Bay Packers on May 7, 2015, after being drafted with the 147th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Hundley, the backup quarterback, got his chance in the first quarter of the Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings, replacing Rodgers, who had a broken collarbone. As a result of Rodgers’ injury, he took over as the starter.

Hundley was named Co-MVP of the Sun Bowl. He was also named Second-Team All-Pac-12 in 2013 and 2014.

His overall performance during the 2017 season was outstanding. He finished with 1,836 yards passing, nine touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 270 yards rushing, and two touchdowns.
