His rookie-year performance in the 12 games he played was adequate, but he was better known for his outspoken attitude and appearance.
His shoulder was seriously wounded in an accident in 1988.
As a result, his football career was cut short.
Later in his career, he began performing in films such as 1991’s “Stone Cold,” “The Longest Yard,” and the TV series “Lawless.”
He joined the XFL as a commentator for their broadcasts in 2001.
In 2003, he served as a football analyst for Turner Sports, and he was a guest chef on the debut episode of Hell’s Kitchen.
