He also competed in Florida Championship Wrestling, Dragon Gate, and other events.
He later debuted with NXT and joined The Wyatt Family alongside Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt.
They captured both the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship.
Brodie earned the distinction of becoming a one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion in 2014.
In March 2020, he made his AEW debut.
On December 26, 2020, it was announced that Luke Harper had died at the age of 41 following a protracted struggle with lung difficulties.
