Casey Wilson married comic writer David Caspe in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony on May 25, 2014, in Ojai, California.

Her brother Fletcher officiated the marriage, becoming a Universal Life minister for the occasion.

Wilson and Caspe first met in early 2010 when she auditioned for his ABC show Happy Endings, and they began dating a year later in July 2011.

In September 2013, they got engaged over Labor Day weekend.

Max Red Caspe, their first child, was born in May 2015.

Wilson began her comedy career as a writer and performer with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in New York and then in Los Angeles.

She was a part of the Harold improv teams at UCB. 

Among her most well-known works at UCB was the two-woman sketch piece “Rode Hard and Put Away Wet,” which she co-wrote and performed with her comedy partner and close friend June Diane Raphael.

They co-wrote their debut script, Bride Wars, in which they also had supporting roles.

Following that, in 2005, they signed a development deal with UPN to make a half-hour comedy pilot, and in 2007, they worked as writers and story editors for the Americanized version of Creature Comforts on CBS.

She made her film debut as an acting student in the 2006 film For Your Consideration. 

Since then, she has appeared in films such as Julie & Julia, C.O.G., The Breakup Girl, The Brothers Solomon, Freak Dance, and The Great Buck Howard.
