Chaeyoung trained for nearly three years after a successful audition with JYP Entertainment on June 6, 2012. As a result, she did her first audition at the age of 14.
She started out as a vocalist, but after a few months, she decided to pursue a career as a rapper. She also appeared in music videos for Got7 and Miss A before making her breakthrough with ‘Twice.’
