His full name was Christian Marlon Segovia, and he was 25 years old when he died.

The man who fired the bullets was apprehended Sunday night, according to the chief.

Charles Robert Smith, 43, of Annapolis, was identified as the suspect by Jackson on Monday.

The police charged Smith with three counts of attempted second-degree murder,

three crimes of second-degree murder, three counts of first-degree assault, and three counts of gun violations.

Smith is still being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.

According to the chief, this was not a random act of violence, and the suspect surrendered “peacefully.”

According to police charging papers obtained by 11 News, Smith was standing at the front entrance of the house with his hands up.

Smith is said to have told officers that “he shot the people because they shot at his house.” This is stated in the criminal complaint.
