Let’s see what the late actress’s mother and father have to say about her untimely death. Ferren “Coco” Lee was a musician, actor, dancer, and singer from Hong Kong. She started her career in Hong Kong and eventually moved to Taiwan.

The actress has 18 studio albums, two live albums, and five compilation albums to her credit, including her debut English-language album, Just No Other Way.

Her films included Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Mulan, and Runaway Bride.

Coco was also Chanel’s first brand ambassador.

Bruce was raised in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1979, he dropped out of university to play professional tennis in Hong Kong.

He became the chief tennis instructor at the Hong Kong Country Club, where he taught the then-chairman of Li & Fung.

Rockowitz and Zeeman co-founded Cobly International in 1981, and he served as president and CEO from 1986 to 2000.

Cobly was purchased for $2.2 billion by Victor Fung and Li Fung in 2000, and Bruce served as CEO from 2011 to 2014.

Lee’s partner was appointed vice chairman and CEO of Global Brands Group in May 2014.

Mr. Bruce co-founded The Pure Group fitness and restaurant franchise and serves as its non-executive chairman.

Lee had two adult stepdaughters from her husband Rockowitz’s previous marriage, but the pair had no children.

Cause of Death

Lee was born with a deformity in her left leg.

She had surgery when she was two years old.

But it failed, and she had to rely on her right leg for the rest of her life.

On 8 March 2023, she posted on social media to her admirers that she had undergone pelvic and thigh surgery in Hong Kong after reactivating an old leg injury during dance practice in 2022.

She posted footage of herself relearning how to walk.

Coco attempted suicide on July 2, 2023, and was brought to Queen Mary Hospital unconscious.

Lee died three days later, on July 5, 2023, in the hospital.

Nancy, her elder sister, reported that her funeral will be delayed until at least August to allow for an autopsy to ascertain the extent of her previously unknown breast cancer.
