Klaassen-Professional Career
Davy began his young career in 1999 when he joined the youth team of a local amateur club called HVV de Zebra as a 6-year-old.
In 2003, he joined the youth team of HSV Wasmeer in Hilversum, his hometown.
A year later, he was hired by the prestigious Ajax Youth Academy in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The organization runs young teams (ages 7 to 18) and serves as a feeder line for AFC Ajax, one of the ‘Big 3’ soccer clubs in the Netherlands (the others being PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord).
Davy earned the national league title while playing for the Ajax A1 youth team in 2011-12.
