Lemos began his career with Corinthians at the age of 17 in 2006. 

He rose to prominence after the club defeated Fortaleza (4-0).

He changed clubs multiple times after that. In 2007, he relocated to Eindhoven. H

e returned to the Vasco Da Gama in 2009.

The following year, he was crowned Series B champion. 

He won the Copa Do Brasil in 2011. In 2014, he signed a four-year contract with VFL Wolfsburg.

Lemos only spent one season in the Bundesliga with VFL. 

In 2013, he returned to his former club Vasco Da Gama on loan.

The player returned to his parent club Corinthians in 2014, but the loan to VFL remained unpaid. 

By 2015, he had achieved economic stability and had acquired half of his economic rights. 

The next year, he signed an exclusive contract with the Corinthians.

His international career began in 2007 with the U20 South American Youth Championship.
