Febiven: Birth, Parents, Siblings & Education

Fabian Diepstraten, also known by his online alias Febiven, is a well-known Dutch gamer who won the 2015 League of Legends European Championship.

On September 23rd, 1996, the gaming legend was born in the Netherlands. He is of Dutch nationality and ethnicity.

There is a scarcity of information about his childhood, family, and educational background.

However, it is widely known that he completed his primary and secondary education in the Netherlands before embarking on his professional gaming career.

Febiven: Professional Career

Febiven began playing video games at a young age, unaware that he would one day make a career out of it. When he was invited to join the Cloud9 Eclipse gaming organization in 2014, he began his professional eSports career.

He was able to record his first stint as a professional gamer under the name Febiven, which he derived from his first name Fabian and his favorite champion Riven.

He was teammates with two other League of Legends stars, Voidle (Erih Sommermann) and Hjarnan, in the early stages of his career (Petter Freyschuss).

During their first professional gaming competition, the trio made a name for themselves, winning several tournaments including the SCAN EUW Winter Invitational and Challenger Spring #1. Despite reaching the Challenger #2 quarterfinal round, his team was defeated by team Departed.

He and his team also won the EUW Challenger series and the Black Monster Cup Europe – Spring in the same year.

He has been scouted by top gaming organizations that want to have him on their team as a result of his outstanding performances.

In May 2014, he and some of his teammates joined the H2K-Gaming team. He and the team went on to win numerous other competitions until the end of 2014.

The gamer was recruited by the Fnatic gaming organization in early 2015, where he won both the Summer and Spring Splits.

He also contributed to the team’s undefeated record of 18 – 0. He rose to prominence in the same year after defeating Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok) twice in the MSI Championship. His gaming abilities improved significantly during the 2016 season.

He, too, began to garner international acclaim for his outstanding records. After assisting Fnatics in their qualification for the MSI championship, he decided to return to H2K-Gaming for a second stint.

This time, he had a rather uneventful season, prompting him to leave for Europe in 2017 to join a new group called Clutch Gaming.

After nearly a year in Europe, the talented gamer decided to return to his native land. He joined Misfits Gaming upon his arrival and has since established himself as one of the best Mid-Laners in the League of Legends franchise.

While he has had a successful gaming career, his popularity has grown beyond the gaming community.

He has appeared on the covers of several mainstream magazines, including Vogue Netherlands. Aside from League of Legends, he has also competed in games such as Call of Duty and others.
