When a piece about him appeared in Black Belt Magazine in 1980, the filmmakers knew they wanted to make a film about him, and eight years later, “Bloodsport,” which Frank Dux choreographed, was released.

Dux holds 16 world records, including the most consecutive knockouts in a single tournament (56 in 1975), the fastest recorded Kumite knockout (3.2 seconds in 1975), the fastest recorded punch resulting in a knockout and the fastest recorded kick resulting in a knockout (72 mph in 1975).

He also holds the record for the shortest knockout time average for a fight career – 1:20 sec (1975), being the first to receive an IFAA Weapons/Forms score of a perfect “10” (1975), and being the first Kumite fighter to accomplish 300 bouts (1978).

Dux became the first Kumite fighter to be undefeated in over 100 contests in 1980. At the International Martial Arts Festival, Bercy Stadium in Paris, France, in 1993, Frank became the first and so far only martial artist to break bulletproof glass barehanded and several champagne bottles with a single kick of varied heights.

Frank has also advised elite military and police forces around the world, including Special Forces, Private High-Risk Security, HRT, SWAT, Special Operations Command, Black Operations, and Law Enforcement Personnel.
