Giorgio Manganelli was born on November 15, 1922 in Italy. He translated Edgar Allan Poe‘s complete short stories into the Italian language. In the 1960s, while a member of an experimental writers’ society called Gruppo 63, he penned and published an early-career work titled Hilarotragoedia.
