He is also known for his recurring roles on several television series’ including KO One where he played Ding Xiaoyu and The X-Family where he played Jiu Wu. Ji Yan was born on November 5, 1985 in Taipei, Taiwan. He starred alongside Jiro Wang and Calvin Chen in the 2007 television series Zhong ji yi jia or The X-Family. He was originally discovered on a modeling blog where he was scouted by Comic Productions. His acting debut came in 2004 when he appeared in the Taiwanese drama series I Love My Wife.
