Corby had a wonderful time at WNCI. This ensured that he was pursued by other radio stations before being hired by WTVN in 1984. His performance at the station propelled him quickly to the position of the station’s most popular broadcaster.

John Corby went on to work for Pittsburgh’s KDKA, but his time there was brief. In 1997, he returned to WTVN for his second stint with the radio station.

John Corby: Cause of Death

The cause of John Corby’s death is still unknown. Despite the fact that the on-air personality died unexpectedly, it was never confirmed that he died of a terminal disease.
