Why Is Jonathan Gregory Brandis’s Death Making Headlines?

On the 19th anniversary of his death, news of Jonathan Brandis’s death is trending on the internet.

At the age of 27, the young Actor committed suicide on November 12, 2003.

He was discovered hanging in the hallway of his Los Angeles condominium in the 600 block of Detroit Avenue on that day.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

But he died the next day from injuries acquired during the hanging.

On November 12, 2003, at approximately 2:45 p.m., hospital staff proclaimed him deceased.

There were no suicide notes left by Jonathan.

He had, however, started drinking heavily and expressed a desire to commit suicide.

Friends said that the actor was depressed over his diminishing career after his death.

He was also dismayed when his role in the 2002 picture Hart’s War, which was supposed to revitalize his career, was drastically trimmed.

Gregory, Jonathan’s father, told People that his son was intelligent, nice, and usually easygoing.

He also stated that he was most likely bipolar.

He did, however, clarify that the death was not caused by the entertainment sector.

Jonathan had evidence of manic depression in his twenties as he looked back.

Gregory also urged anyone in need to seek help.
