He is best recognized for his recurring television appearances including Emilio Echegaray in Rosario Tijeras, Javier Giraldo in Palabra de Ladron, and Yoni in Campeones de la Vida. José Antonio Gaona was born on April 19, 1982, in Mexico. He starred alongside Ana Serradilla and Ana Layevska in the 2006 feature film Cansada de Besar Sapos. He graduated from the CasAzul Escuela de Artes Escenicas and started his career as an actor on television. In 2003, he made his debut as the character Cocho in the series El Alma Herida. He then went on to make his feature film debut in 2006 when he starred as Tizoc in the film Cansada de Besar Sapos.
