Jujhar Khaira’s Professional Career

Jujhar began his professional career in 2012 when he was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers of the British Columbia Hockey League.

He eventually went on to play NCAA hockey for his institution. However, he only stayed with the squad for one season before moving on to his junior league career.

He began his junior league career with the Everett Silvertips before joining the Edmonton Oilers in 2013.

Khaira made his debut in the 2013-14 season with the affiliate team Oklahoma City Barons, and he had an impressive rookie season.

He later played for another associated team, the Bakersfield Condors, and in the 2015-16 season, he made his NHL debut against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He finished the season with a total of 15 games and scored numerous goals against the Arizona Coyotes and Montreal Canadians the next season.

He recently signed a two-year free-agent contract with the Chicago Blackhawks for the 2020 season.

Jujhar was injured in the most recent game against the Rangers after colliding with the other team’s defenceman, Jacob Trouba.

Trouba is claimed to have rammed his shoulder into Jujhar’s chin, causing him to collapse.
