Karen Reuter died of cancer on January 24, 2019, at the age of 62. She became critically sick in September and had to leave the program “Orange Is the New Black.”

From 2013 to 2014, Reuter first appeared on the program as a co-key makeup artist in 20 episodes. In addition, between 2015 and 2016, she served as the makeup department manager for OITNB.
