Irish-American architect who won the Pritzker Prize in 1982. He designed and master-planned more than 200 international projects, including devising the Metropolitan Museum of Art master plan in 1967. Kevin Roche was born on June 14, 1922, in Ireland. He completed many of Eero Saarinen‘s unfinished works. He graduated from University College Dublin in 1945 and immediately was hired by the famed Michael Scott, followed by a stint with Maxwell Fry in London during the latter part of 1946.
