He joined the band at the age of 21 and appeared on the albums “Constrictor” and “Raise Your Fist and Yell” by Cooper.
Winger started his own band, which he called after himself, in 1986. The band’s debut album, “This Conversation Seems Like a Dream,” was well-received by reviewers but failed to reach financial success.
Winger was formed in 1989 by guitarist Reb Beach, drummer Rod Morgenstein, and keyboardist Paul Taylor.
