Kumar Rocker’s Professional Career
He finished his junior season with a 1.63 earned run average (ERA) with 68 strikeouts in 55+23 innings. He participated in the Under Armor All-America Baseball Game and the Perfect Game All-American Classic during the summer of 2017.
During the summer, he was a member of the USA Baseball 18U National Team. Kumar made the decision to play baseball at Vanderbilt University.
He was regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. Because of signability difficulties, he was not taken until the 38th round by the Colorado Rockies. In the fall of 2018, he enrolled at Vanderbilt University.
