Kyle Sambrook: A Man and His Dog Have Been Found Dead

Kyle Sambrook and his dog went missing while wild camping in the Scottish Highlands on February 18.

When they did not come home to Featherstone, West Yorkshire, on Tuesday, a desperate search was initiated.

Kyle and Bane were last seen in the Lost Valley region of Glencoe in northwest Scotland, according to sources.

Law enforcement, the Search and Rescue Dog Association, the Inverness Coastguard helicopter,

and members of the Glencoe, Lochaber, Oban, Arran, and RAF Leeming Mountain rescue teams searched for Sambrook for a week.

People are paying their respects after learning of Kyle Sambrook’s terrible demise.

On Saturday afternoon, mountain rescuers and the Coast Guard discovered their remains.

They were found in a valley 2,625 feet above sea level on the 3632-foot-high Stob Coire nam Beith.

According to Brian Bathurst,

deputy team leader of the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team,

Sambrook may have been carrying his dog when he fell roughly 100 feet in perilous conditions.

According to the rescuers, Sambrook was well-suited for hiking and was carrying a tent and other gear.

They believe he intended to climb the 3,353-foot Buachaille Etive Mr mountain during his trip.

Update on the Kyle Sambrook Case

The officials in the Kyle Sambrook death case stated that there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

Rescuers stated that it took them more than six hours to bring his body back from the mountains on a stretcher.

Kyle’s family expressed gratitude to everyone participating in the search and asked that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.

Brian Bathurst, the deputy team leader, was one of the four persons who discovered the bodies on Saturday.

Brian speculated that Sambrook may have attempted to leave the

hill but became disoriented due to the bad weather and strong winds at the time of his fall.

The man and his best friend had traveled extensively through Europe’s highest slopes.

They recently completed a successful trip to Scafell Pike, England’s highest natural mountain, with Bane and his girlfriend.
