Lynsey Meeks- Professional Career

Lynsey began her softball career at a very young age. She began playing in high school and then moved on to the college squad.

She used to be a member of the Beverly bandits. Then she was Beverly’s 16U 2014 PGF runner-up and 18U ASA gold national champion in 2015 and 2016.

She was chosen first-team all-division 3 and all-Mid-state league in 2014. Then, in 2015, she was honored with numerous designations and accolades.

She was named second-team all-state, first-team all-division three, first-team all-mid-league, and player of the year for the Ohio mid-state league division.

She was awarded first-team all-state, dispatch first-team all-metro, first-team all-division 3, first-team all-mid-state league, and mid-state league division Ohio player of the year in 2016.

Lynsey Meeks’s College Career

She enrolled as a freshman in the year 2018. She made a total of 23 appearances and had a total of 364 hits. Meeks hit two home runs and drove in three runs on eight hits.

She made her collegiate debut at Jacksonville (2/24) and had her first hit on her first plate appearance. Against Arkansas Pine Bluff (3/9), she managed to hit her first double. Then, in the year 2019, she arrived as a sophomore. In 2019, she appeared in 21 games, starting four of them.

She had three hits and two RBIs in that contest. At the ASU Invitational on March 7, she got her first hit of the season against Arizona State.

Lynsey arrived in the year 2020 as a junior. As a designated player, she appeared in 11 games and started two of them. She had four hits, including one double. Then, against Austin Peay (2/22/20), she got her first hit and RBI of the season.

Lynsey was on the dean’s list for the spring 2020 list and the president’s list for the autumn 2019. Last Tuesday, she and her team won the last women’s college world series in Oklahoma City, and Meeks did an outstanding job.
