Masechaba’s first marriage to Mfundo Nditsane did not work out as planned.
Masechaba stated in an interview with Pearl Thusi that they were both still young at the time and were not fully prepared for this journey.

In 2015, she married Vusi Ndlovu and changed her name, becoming Masechaba Ndlovu for the first time when she began hosting the e.tv talk show The Big Debate.
