Matthew Trebek is an American businessman and restaurateur, well known as the only son of Alex Trebek. Alex was an Emmy-Award winning Canadian-American TV personality, actor, and game host who was known as the host of the syndicated game show “Jeopardy!” Alex received the Daytime Emmy Award for the Best Game Show Host seven times.

Matthew is also the owner of his North Harlem Mexican restaurant, called “Oso” which he founded in May 2016 with his friend and business partner, Nodar Moshiashvili. With their success in Oso, they set up a pizza shop called “Pizza by Lucille’s” The shop was named after Mathew’s grandma, Lucille.

Matthew was born as the eldest child of George Alexander Trebek (father) and Jean Currivan (mother). With the success of the restaurant, Mathew and his friend, Nodar expanded their company and set up the “Lucille’s” coffee shop and event room in 2019. The shop was named after Mathew’s grandma, Lucille Lagace.

The same year, they opened their pizza shop “Pizza by Lucille’s” in North Harlem, New York City.
