Maurizio Gucci married Patrizia Reggiani in 1972, and they had two daughters, Allegra and Alessandra.
Maurizio’s father, Rodolfo Gucci, initially opposed their marriage, labeling Patrizia an asocial climber with just money on her mind.
He told his wife Patrizia in 1985 that he was going on a brief trip to Florence.
