She grew up in the same town. She is the daughter of Dan Marakovits, a former baseball player and high school coach. Meredith attended Allentown, Pennsylvania’s Central Catholic High School.

She was then accepted to La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Service Electric Cable TV and Communications operates it. She also served as a sideline reporter for this cable’s two sports sections, broadcasting college and high school football games.

She also worked as a broadcaster for college basketball games.

Meredith then worked as a Phillies beat reporter for 97.5 The Fanatic/950 ESPN Radio in Philadelphia.

She was also a Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia sideline reporter for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Meredith moved to New York in 2010 and began reporting for 1050 ESPN Radio.

She used to cover the New York Yankees for this publication.
